Newly founded in 2014, our family operated company is built on the principles of ensuring top quality products & workmanship, while providing highly reliable service. Integrity and Qualify are guiding principles of all that we do.

We are acutely aware that in order to grow our company and be successful, we know we have to deliver for our clients in a manner that meets or exceeds your expectations, one project at a time.  We intend to do just that, through consistently providing the highest degree of professionalism and customer service available in the market today.

Our diversified services range continues to grow by following trends, improving our standards through lessons learned, and listening to the customer.

Our founder, Stephen ("Steve") Aks, originally hails from the Northeast U.S. where by 1978 in his early teens, he had begun learning and working this business, working on some of the area's most high profile and complex Projects of its time. Steve pursued a Civil Engineering degree for 2.5 years in New Jersey before relocating to Florida where he switched majors and obtained his degree in Building Construction Management, in 1986.

Steve has been licensed by the State of Florida as a Certified General Contractor since 1989, State of Florida as a Certified Home Inspector* since 2012, and is certified by the Environmental Protection Agency*as a Licensed Lead-Based Paint Renovator since 2012. Steve held certification by the State of Florida Department of Education, as a Uniform Building Code Inspector (U.B.C.I. for State Educational Facilities, from 1991 through 2003.

Having been employed and passionately working in the industry for over three decades, and having learned technical and operational facets quite literally "from the ground-up" from the Northeast to the Southeast U.S. Steve gained unique perspectives having represented all aspects of project delivery.

Steve started working in this industry by age 14, and worked hard at learning the business by being mentored by top professionals who are renown experts in their field, gaining hands-on experience learning and practicing the fundamentals, and working steadfastly at putting himself through College at night while continually working full-time during the day since his senior year in high school.  This earnest effort, led to setting "Wonder-Kid" type records during his career so far, through reaching management and executive levels at very early stages demonstrating well-above-average performance continuing for over 30 years. A few highlights of Steve's background, reflect that Steve has...

• expertise navigating  through the Project Approvals and Permitting, Design / Pre-Construction Phase services, Construction Phase Operations and Post-Occupancy / Warranty Phases, and Post - Occupancy Inspections, on a vast array of projects for a vast array of clients
• Steve has personally succeeded in Team Leader roles for singular Projects valued at up to $238M
• led team segments for major public infrastructure projects valued at over $1.3B
• built and led dedicated business units of approx. 60 employees
• managed staff of 332 executing $300M - $400M annually
• been significant performer for several ENR™ Ranked Top 250/400/500 Design and Construction companies

Accordingly, Steve brings a high level of project leadership and expertise for Design / Pre-Construction Phase and Construction Phase Services, Subcontractor and Vendor relationships, and Customer Sensitivity to our customers, no matter the project scope or size.

We say this, quite honestly, because Steve brings project management and team leadership experience, having been directly affiliated with the development / improvement of facilities, on projects ranging from $5,700 to over $1.3 Billion, consisting of over...

Therefore, we can help you explore whatever project needs you have in mind.  We will give you our honest assessment and if we can be of service to handle your needs we will propose how we can help.  If however, it appears that our company may not be the best fit for your ideas or needs, we will not only be forthright about that, but we will also still try to afford you the best advise we have available, and we will attempt to recommend to you, where you might find that right fit.

Steve and our staff of highly experienced, qualified and dedicated Interior Designer, Project Managers, Superintendents, Tradespersons and Accounting staff, takes every project to heart personally and passionately, to ensure that every client understands that no others, will apply as much care and attention to their needs as our company will.  In fact, our founder and President has been known to work hands-on for some of our Projects, either self-performing or working along side of others, to ensure our clients objectives are met.  Steve believes that the best way to lead, is by example.

Our founder and other staff members have been "GREEN" Certified in compliance with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC)™ by the Green Building Certification Institute, as a LEED AP™ (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional) under the NC2.2/Legacy program since 2008 and Credentialed as LEED AP™ Building Design + Construction since 2013.

Our sister organization, Ax-Sharp Inspection Services, LLC, can provide inspection and assessment services, Owner representation services, and other professional consulting services to ensure quality and thorough analysis of your concerns or ideas.
